The Welland EZSTOR EP-221, 2 port Power over eSATA ( eSATAp) PCI-E card expands your PC with two external Power Over eSATA ports. These ports enable you to connect not only Power Over eSATA devices but also the standard devices with built-in eSATA and USB A Type connectors. Power over eSATA port is the hybrid of eSATA and USB2.0 and it is compliance with 5V / 12V standard, as long as it co-works with 5V / 12V Power over eSATA cable, then it doesn't require separate power when connecting to 2.5", 3.5" or 5.25" drive under eSATA transmission. Additionally, with 1 internal IDE port and the RAID function enhance the application of EP-221.
