The PEGS16 from V7 is an IEEE 802.3 compliant PoE switch designed for connecting a wide range of PoE equipment such as IP surveillance cameras, wireless access points, and other devices where a power source is not readily available. The 16 Port Gigabit PoE Switch gives you plenty of options to connect all of your devices, plus the ports are Auto Sensing to automatically optimize the speed for each connected device. The switch is rack mountable, and is easy to set up – Simply plug in the power and Ethernet and you are ready to get down to business.
- Power Over Ethernet+: V7 PoE Switches feature every port capable of PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at) giving any Powered Device up to 30 watts of power per port, so you can power your IP Phones or Network Camera without the need to run additional power lines.
- Energy Efficient: Using IEEE 802.3az, V7 switches offer power saving functions to help save money. Port usage will automatically shut down when not is use and can adjust power output depending length of cable.
- Port Sensing: V7 switches auto-detect connection speed to optimize your network effectively. The speed can mode can support 10Mbps, 100Mbps in Half/Full Duplex mode or 1000Mbps in Full Duplex mode.
- Plug and Play: No need for configuration on your end. The V7 Switches will just work right out of the box and can be easily added to an existing networking configuration.
