Powered by Dell SonicWALL’s next-generation CDP 6.0 firmware, it delivers the comprehensive data protection organizations demand and the power administrators need for vigilant data backup and disaster recovery. With granular, globally enforced policy controls over the entire backup operation, business-relevant data assets are automatically preserved and protected against loss from file, device, and location based disasters. A sophisticated new fileset backup methodology combined with agent-based data de-duplication speeds the backup process and optimizes bandwidth usage while maintaining total information continuity and the ability to flexibly restore multiple revisions across Windows®, Linux® and Mac OS® platforms.

- BMR software includes local archiving capabilities that allow organizations to store snapshots of their data for extended periods of time. This feature is industry and government compliant and includes the ability to explore archives and restore individual files.
- Central management allows administrators to set backup and recovery policies with an easy-to-use interface. Policies can be set at the network or user level.
