LED Backlight
Instead of conventional CCFL backlight units, some of HYUNDAI IT
monitors are using already innovative LED backlights to illuminate the
LCD screen. As a result the monitor’s cabinet is a thinner, the display is
brighter and shows more colors. In addition it is more environmental
friendly due to low power consumption.
Environmentally Responsible
The model is ENERGY STAR Rated, has an EPEAT™ rating of gold
contains packaging that uses materials with a lower environmental
impact and includes a low power panel.
LED Backlight
Increased ruggedness : LEDs are solid state devices and more
resistant toshockandvibration than CCFLbacklights.
Increased reliability : Compared to CCFL backlights LEDs have a
longer lifetimes.
Increased brightness - lower power consumption : LEDs can
be driven to higher luminance levels than CCFL backlights.
Conversely, lower power is required to achieve normal
brightness levels than CCFLbacklights.
10,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio
The contrast ratio is as the ratio of the luminance
of the brightest color (white) to that of the darkest color
(black) that the system is capable to produce. Working with
the dynamic contrast technology, HYUNDAI IT monitors are
bringing the of showing the maximum contrast the
panel isphysically able to achievedisregardingthe luminance
level of the screen contents.
