The FMC-SX1G can convert optical-electric signal (Ethernet) between 10/100/1000 Mb UTP (Unshielded Twisted Paired) interface (TX) and 1000 Mb optical fiber FX, through a simple fiber optic connector (one for TX-transmission and one for RX-reception) and an RJ-45 connector, plus six LEDs that allow complete monitoring of the working conditions of the inverters, making it easier for users to observe and diagnose inverter faults.
This media converter is capable of operating with any standard SFP interface as long as this SFP interface has gigabit ethernet capability, allowing for cooperation with single mode and multimode fibers.
