It is an application for Android y IOS (V10 o or higher) mobile devices that allows video recording in the cloud of HIKVISION R6 y G1 platform cameras.
One of the advantages of epcom® CLOUD is that it allows recording by motion detection, in this mode only the video records are saved to the cloud when the camera detects a movement and only the live video is transmitted when it is requested from the application; thus we optimize the bandwidth of the site where the cameras are installed.
How does it work?
The application scans the local network to search for compatible devices. This will take a few seconds. Then, with a single touch on the application, epcom® CLOUD will update the camera firmware to a version developed especially for this function, adding the camera to the account without the need to configure the modem / router, so it is not necessary open ports. This will transform the camera into a remotely controllable device.
How safe is it?
The cameras running in the epcom® CLOUD application only make outgoing connections to the recording servers.
Normally, in other applications you have to allow incoming connections from the internet, which can make the software vulnerable. Our approach is inherently more secure.
