The CRU® RAX®421-XJ Rackmount Enclosure offers 6 Gbps performance with a Multilane SFF-8088 interface supporting two 3.5-inch SATA hard drives. Multilane SFF-8088 combines up to 4 eSATA cables into one, capable of moving data at up to 6 Gbps per drive. DataPort 10 bays are durable and will allow easy drive swapping for incrased storage and are rated for tens of thousands of insertions without failure.
The RAX421-XJ, with 6 Gbps performance, is an ideal solution for post production audio and video editing, storage or backups of large amounts of data.
The RAX421-XJ can easily be mounted in a standard 19-inch rack (EIA 310 Standards) by the front faceplate or by using our available rack slide kit (0641-5500-00). At least 22-inch rack depth is needed when mounting the RAX421-XJ using the front faceplate to allow room for cables. A rack depth from 22-inch to 30-inch is suggested when using CRU’s rack slide kit to allow easy access to the back of the unit.
