The FutureCom S/FTP 800/23s cable is specified for applications up to 800 MHz and exceeds the defined Category 7 according to EN 50288-4-1. Outstanding system headrooms of the complete cabling system in compliance with ISO/IEC 11801 (2002) and EN 50173-1 (2003). Outstanding performance for the transmission of digital data signals for future comming applications up to 10GbE in compliance with the new Class EA and IEEE 802.3an standard.The low skew (delay difference) between the pairs underlines their suitability for future 10 Gigabit and 1 Gigabit Ethernet applications.
Cable Requirements (Characteristics)
Diameter of copper conductor AWG 23, wire insulation is halogen free. Each twisted pair is individually shielded with a metal foil (PiMF). Overall shield of tinned copper braid. Sheath material is halogen-free; flame retardant to IEC60332-3C and EN 50266-2-4; low smoke to IEC61034; non corrosive to IEC60754-2 and EN 50267; outer sheath colour is blue.
Tensile strength >154 N, fire rating 0.56 MJ/m, outer diameter 7.3 mm, weight approx. 52 kg/1,000 mtrs.
Bending radius during installation > 60 mm; Bending radius during operation: > 22 mm.
