The performance of the modern storage devices, particularly SSD, M2 and mSATA flash card, are approaching the full SATA III bandwidth of 6Gbps, the quality of the data cable becomes critical in ensuring the stability and performance of the storage device. We have found many commerically available SATA cables fail to reliably connect high performance SSD to 6G SATA port. In some incidents, the connection can become intermittent.
